Former area resident Ross Wylde returns to Reno for a performance at The Lodge Bar & Venue in Reno on Saturday, Aug. 26. The show will be from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The independent singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist will be playing as a duet with Liam Murphy. Together they’re known as Murph Wylde.
Wylde, who graduated high school in Reno, now lives in Mendicino working at his family’s winery, Frey Vineyards. He released the album “In Retrospect” in 2019, and he’s gained more than 1 million streams of his material. His most recent album “2nd Impressions” was composed, recorded and produced by Wylde during the pandemic lockdown and he plays most of the instruments on the album.
Murphy studied at the University of California, Berkeley and currently works in forestry and fire prevention in Plumas. He lives in Quincy.
The Lodge Bar & Venue is located at 17025 NV-431 in Reno.
