Carson City road report for December 4 to 10, 2023

Road report as of Thursday. The following applies to Dec. 4-10:

Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

• Minnesota Street between Washington Street and Caroline Street will be closed on Monday, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The following street segments will be closed for a special event, Sunday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.:

• Division Street between Telegraph Street and King Street

• King Street (in the eastbound direction) between Minnesota Street and Division Street

• Minnesota Street between King Street and Telegraph Street

• Musser Street between Phillips Street and Nevada Street

• Proctor Street between Minnesota Street and Division Street

Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

• 5th Street between Carson Street and Plaza Street will have shoulder work Monday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Butti Way between Airport Road and Fairview Drive will be closed to westbound traffic only starting on Wednesday. Work is to continue until Friday for installation of a utility conduit along Butti Way. The eastbound lane will be open to through traffic.

• California Street between Colorado Street and Industrial Park Drive will have narrowed lanes, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

• Clearview Drive between Silver Sage Drive and Oak Street will be reduced to a single lane, Monday-Wednesday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for work on existing utility poles.

• Colorado Street between Carson Street and Saliman Road will have lane shifting, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

• Eagle Station Lane between Carson Street and Silver Sage Drive will have lane shifting, Wednesday, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

• Silver Sage Drive between Clearview Drive and Koontz Lane will have lane shifting on Monday-Thursday, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

• Trucks will be entering and exiting the road at Edmonds Drive, Colorado Street, Koontz Drive, Clearview Lane, and Livermore Lane all week for construction of the new multi-use path. Please use caution in these areas. Edmonds Drive and Clearview Lane will have flagger control with one lane traffic, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Construction will continue for the next few months.
