The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is trying to identify a suspect in a Dec. 12 vehicle theft in the area of Rand Avenue in Carson City, according to a news release.
On Saturday, Dec. 16, Carson City Special Enforcement detectives located the stolen vehicle near Long Street and Humboldt Lane.
Detectives were able to locate surveillance video identifying the suspect as a thin male wearing a red Reebok sweater, blue baseball cap, blue jeans, and brown boots.
The case number is 23-7745.
The release also said during cold months remember to lock vehicles and do not leave keys in the vehicle while warming it up.
