The Carson City Sheriff’s Office recently received a boost from a local business owner.
Carson City Country Financial agent Jim Gray donated $1,500 to the law enforcement agency’s K9 unit. The money funded the purchase of a new dog bite suit used in training.
Country Financial created the Operation Helping Heroes program in 2015 to support non-profit organizations that help active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. In 2019, the company expanded the program to include first responder and military organizations.
