A sex worker with a social media presence was arrested after a shooting incident at a Mound House brothel early Tuesday morning.
Tiera Tae, whose real name is Savannah Henderson, 28, was taken into custody after she surrendered to authorities after a three-hour stand-off at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch.
No one was injured in the incident, that started around 9:40 p.m. Monday with a report of a fight between two brothel employees.
As authorities were arriving, several more gunshots were heard, and the brothel was evacuated.
They learned that Henderson had allegedly discharged a firearm and then retreated into a room.
Law enforcement and medical personnel, including Douglas County deputies and East Fork medics, responded to Lyon County.
Lyon County’s crisis negotiation and special weapons and tactics teams responded to the incident along with officers from Carson City, Nevada State Police, Washoe Tribe.
Henderson surrendered to officers around 12:30 a.m. and was taken into custody without incident.
She is facing four counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance, discharging a firearm where others may be endangered and obstructing. Her bail is $86,140.
