Mandatory Pre-Submittal Meeting
A mandatory Pre-Submittal Meeting will be held at the New Frontier offices at
1490 Grimes Street, Fallon, NV 89407
Wednesday, April 1, 2023, at 1:30 pm. All interested CMAR applicants are required to attend and sign in. We will discuss
the projects in further detail, the submittal requirements, the RFP evaluation process and the subsequent evaluation/interview
process that will be used to select the successful CMAR firms. New Frontier will address the anticipated milestones of the
selection, design and construction process.
Project Descriptions and Budgets
Addition to Residence Hall for New Frontier
Located at 1490 Grimes Street, Fallon, NV 89407
This project consists of remodel of existing behavioral health building and associated utilities,
construction of two building additions, site utilities, site improvements, fencing, landscaping and parking.
Construction Budget is $3,925,600.
Qualifications
The CMAR fee and general conditions for these projects will be negotiated after the selection process. Once New Frontier
has selected 2 to 5 finalists by evaluating/scoring the CMAR firms’ Qualifications (see short list scoring/selection criteria later
in document), the second part of this CMAR selection process is an interview with the finalists, which is outlined further in this
document.
Qualifications and evaluation results may be available for review by all interested CMAR firms; however, officially it will be
given to the short-listed CMAR firms upon formal written notification.
New Frontier will enter into a Pre-Construction phase agreement with the selected firm. The agreement will include a preconstruction
fee, final breakdown of general conditions (detailed list provided by New Frontier), CMAR fee to cover profit/
overhead. Additional site-specific requirements may be addressed at this point with some information that was previously
presented in the qualifications process.
