This week Carson High School is proud to present Cooper Eaton as the Senior in the Spotlight. Cooper is an excellent student-athlete at Carson High and has great aspirations for himself after he graduates. During his time here, he has excelled in the classroom and currently holds a 4.17 weighted GPA. On top of that, he has also completed 12 honors-level courses at CHS.
When Cooper is not focused on his classwork, he also loves playing sports. This CHS senior will graduate with multiple varsity letters from his two favorite sports, baseball and wrestling. Even though he is only playing Varsity Baseball this year, wrestling will always hold a place in his heart. When he was a junior wrestling for the varsity team, he fell victim to a season ending back injury. It was a hard decision for Cooper to walk away from wrestling, but since then, he has been able to battle back from the injury, and he is now ready to finish his baseball career for the Senators. Cooper is set to be one of the catchers for the Varsity squad.
When Cooper graduates, he plans on attending TMCC and becoming a firefighter. Although Cooper’s grades and athletic achievements are noteworthy, the most exceptional thing about Cooper is his strong character and great attitude. Cooper is a student that carries himself with integrity and school pride, which is exactly why he deserves to be recognized in our community.
