NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public

hearing will be held in the Churchill County

Administrative Complex, 155 North Taylor

Street, County Commission Chambers, Fallon,

Nevada:

On Wednesday, August 9, 2023, the Churchill

County Planning Commission will hold

a public hearing beginning at 7:00 p.m. to

include the following request. A petition filed

by Fernley Business Park, LLC, for property

located at 11000 Reno Highway, Assessor’s

Parcel Numbers 009-251-77 and 009-251-

78, to abandon the existing public access

easement and replace it with a private access

easement in the same location and easement

dimension as the existing. The access

currently serves only one property owner, and

the owner would like to restrict public access

for security and safety reasons. Note that

this property was recently approved for land

division that has not been completed yet.

If you cannot attend the Planning Commission

meeting, written comments may be

submitted to the Public Works, Planning &

Zoning Department, 155 N Taylor Street,

Suite 194, Fallon, NV 89406, before 5:00 p.m.,

August 8, 2023. A copy of the application is

on file and available for public inspection at

the Churchill County Public Works, Planning

& Zoning Department. We will also post a

scanned copy of the application with our

Planning Commission agenda on the county

web page at www.churchillcountynv.gov under

Agendas & Minutes. The Planning Commission

will make a recommendation to the Board

of County Commissioners, who will make a

final decision.
