Friends of the Carson City Library announce the return of their annual back-to-school drive in support of the Court Appointed Special Advocate program.
This year, Browsers Corner Bookstore is collecting school supplies for children of all ages. Donations will be accepted through Aug. 19. Items needed include backpacks, writing materials, art supplies and more, while 3-ring binders and spiral notebooks are not needed at this time.
Donations can be dropped off at the bookstore, located at 711 E. Washington St., in Carson City. All contributions will directly benefit CASA children ensuring they have the tools they need to excel in their studies.
