Over 300 people came to see the classic car Show and Shine at Carson Tahoe Cancer Center's Cancer Survivors Day. The event was a celebration of life and hope.

Survivors, family members, and friends mingled among the classic cars, enjoying the beautiful weather, and the music and games. The Lions Club of Dayton Valley had face painting and made root beer floats.

The Cancer Center provided education and resources to cancer survivors about what their Survivorship Care Plans meant and how to stay cancer-free. The Classic Car Show and Shine was the highlight of the event. From muscle cars to vintage classics, there was something for everyone to admire.

Holly McGee won first place for her 1959 Nash Metropolitan with beautiful pink details throughout for breast cancer awareness. Michael TeGantvort took second place with his Cadillac Coupe De Ville and Chris Worley took third place with 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle. Shelton Fabrication provided trophies for the winners.
