The Fallon CVS pharmacy on 461 W. Williams Ave., is donating water through the generosity of its customers this summer to the area’s first responders.

During the month of May, CVS customers donated 281 cases of water to the Banner Churchill EMTs, Fallon/Churchill Volunteer Fire Department, Churchill County Sheriff’s Office, and Nevada State Police. The donations are a jump from last year with 356 cases of water were donated for the entire summer.

The local CVS team said this a way for the local pharmacy to be a part of the community, especially by supporting the first responders during Churchill County’s hot months.

The breakdown was 82 cases for the fire department, 63 for the Fallon Police Department, 53 for Banner, 42 for the NSP and 41 for CCSO.
