3 people dead in Fallon after residential fire

Three people were found dead Thursday morning after a Fallon residential fire, according to a news release from the Nevada State Police.

The confirmed fatalities are one adult and two juveniles. The release did not provide identification.

The Nevada State Fire Marshal was on the scene Thursday morning investigating the residential fire, the release said.

At approximately 2:15 a.m., the Churchill County/Fallon Volunteer Fire Department responded to the fire in a residential area near U.S. 50, west of U.S. 95 in Fallon, the release said. Firefighters suppressed the fire at 2:49 a.m. The Nevada State Fire Marshal was notified and responded at 2:50 a.m.

The Nevada State Fire Marshal is working in partnership with the Churchill County Sheriff’s Office on this investigation.
