The National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation named PBS Reno as a semi-finalist in the 2023 Celebration of Service to America Awards for Television Small Market.
During the gala in Washington, D.C. on June 6, PBS Reno received the semi-finalist recognition for its Curiosity Classroom workshops, annual writers contest, and additional free educational resources for teachers, students, and their families.
The event included guests from the broadcast and media industries, members of congress, and federal communications commission staff.
