Carson Nugget has partnered with winemaker Mike Owen, founder of Crystal Basin Cellars, and Debbie McCarthy, owner of About Town Deb and food, travel and wine blogger, to present a Winemaker's Dinner Series on Thursday, June 29 at 6 p.m. at the Barrel Room located in the Carson Nugget at 507 N. Carson St, Carson City. The series includes a bubbly wine reception and a three-course meal with various Crystal Basin Cellar's wines.
Crystal Basin Cellar, a winery located in the El Dorado Hills, has been producing wine since 1988, utilizing grapes locally grown within a 30-mile radius of their Camino winery. With a focus on producing wines that showcase the unique characteristics of El Dorado County's terroir, Crystal Basin Cellars has gained a well-deserved reputation for crafting elegant and expressive wines.
