Fallon crash closes U.S. 50-U.S. 95 intersection

An SUV and semitruck collided in Fallon on Friday afternoon at the intersection of Williams Avenue (U.S. 50) and Taylor Street (U.S. 95 South).

The Nevada State Police and Fallon Police Department are investigating the cause of the crash.

At least one person was extricated from a vehicle. Authorities have not provided information on the seriousness of injuries or when the intersection will re-open.

The city of Fallon, Churchill County Sheriff’s Office and Banner Churchill EMS are assisting.
