Dana Ryan
Dana Ryan, vice president of Academic and Student Affairs at Western Nevada College, was recognized at the 2023 Nevada Women’s Fund Salute to Women of Achievement on May 25.
This event celebrates the significant contributions of women in various fields across Northern Nevada. Ryan has served as WNCs interim vice president for the past year.
Ryan has guided initiatives to create new programs aligned with emerging industries and workforce needs; expand services for English language and adult learners; explore methods and flexible options for academic participation; and foster a supportive learning/work environment for students, faculty, and staff.
Ryan’s career includes experience in education (preschool through higher education), workforce development and industry.
