Qualified Carson City residents interested in serving the public will find ample opportunities as city officials have announced more than a dozen openings on volunteer advisory boards.

“We value the input of all our boards and commissions,” said Mayor Lori Bagwell.

The positions are without compensation, but residents can bring their own life experience and skills to help shape local policy.

“Their work provides opportunities for community input and helps shape our decisions as the Board of Supervisors,” Bagwell said. “They help make Carson City a great place to live, work and play.”
