The FISH Student Housing Revitalization project continues to make way with paving and asphalt complete throughout the apartment towers and commercial building area of 1451 N. Carson St., in downtown Carson City.

All parking spots have been numbered and will be assigned to each of the 36 apartment units. Installation of kitchen appliances is complete in all units and select units will receive complete furnishings such as bed frame, mattress, dining table, couch, glassware, silverware, and cookware.

Applications are being accepted for the December move-in date. The housing project features one- and two-bedroom units (furnished and unfurnished on a first come, first serve basis), internet and utilities, and shuttle service/private parking. HUD vouchers are accepted, and rental assistance and scholarships are available. Units start at $1,250 per month, and no pet deposit is required.

The housing is open to all students in qualifying trade programs. All eligible applicants may apply through FISH by providing proof of training program enrollment and household size.
