Nick Jacques directs the Capital City Community Band.
The Capital City Community Band, under the direction of Nick Jacques, will present its annual holiday concert on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 2 p.m. in the Boldrick Theater at the Carson City Community Center, 851 E. William St.
The concert will feature traditional and newer holiday songs, including “Christmas Scrapbook,” “Home Alone Christmas,” “Deck The Halls,” “Farandole,” and “Sleigh Ride.”
In addition, the Carson High School Chamber Singers will join the band in performing the Hallelujah Chorus from the Messiah, and in Hymn To the Fallen, which is from the movie "Saving Private Ryan,” a tribute to Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day.
The concert is free; however, donations will be accepted.
