Carson City road report for October 9 to 15, 2023

Road report as of Thursday. The following applies to Oct. 9-15:

Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

Eagle Station will be closed between Silver Sage Drive and Bonnie Place, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for sewer line reconstruction. Detours will be provided.

Telegraph Street will be closed between Carson Street to Curry Street, Saturday, 3-9 p.m. for a private event.

Telegraph Street will be closed between Stewart Street to Valley Street starting on Oct. 16. No parking cones will be placed prior.

Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

California Street between Colorado Street and Industrial Park Road will have narrowed lanes at different times, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Access will remain open.

Colorado Street between Carson Street and Saliman Road will periodically have reduced and narrowed lanes and lane shifts, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed by the end of October.

Medical Parkway between Carson Street and Medical Parkway Loop will have a mobile closure operation, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway striping.

North Carson Street between Silver Oak Drive and Arrowhead Drive will have reduced and narrowed lanes, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for shoulder work.

Presti Lane between Eagle Valley Ranch Road and Medical Parkway Loop will have a mobile closure operation, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway striping.

Silver Oak Drive between Medical Parkway and Carson Street will have a mobile closure operation, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway striping.

Trucks will be entering and exiting the road at Edmonds Drive, Colorado Street, Koontz Drive, Clearview Lane, and Livermore Lane all week for construction of the new multi-use path. Edmonds Drive and Clearview Lane will periodically have flagger control, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Construction will continue for the next few months.

Vista Lane Between Medical Parkway and Silver Oak Drive will have a mobile closure operation, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway striping.
