The Workforce, Career and Technical Education department is presenting an open house for its manufacturing program from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Technology.
Meet faculty members, discover the college's new technology, tour facilities and have your questions answered.
“We're always excited to showcase our programs and highlight the numerous high-wage career opportunities in manufacturing,” said Travis Carr, WNC’s director of WCTE. “We are grateful to DETR for including us in this important national event to raise awareness of manufacturing and hopefully expand the pipeline of talent for our employer partners.”
Career options include Manufacturing Technician, Engineering Technician, Industrial Technician, Industrial Maintenance, Robotics Technician, Systems Technician and Production Lead.
“The WNC manufacturing program has been very successful at training students for jobs in our local community,” said WNC President J. Kyle Dalpe. “We strive to offer the latest training on the latest technology to ensure students are prepared.”
