Carson City Juvenile Services will offer two parent education nights this month.
The first is from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19 at 740 S. Saliman Road in Carson City and will be offered in Spanish. Carson City Juvenile Services will be partnering with the Carson City Sheriff's Department to teach about substance awareness and having conversations with youth about substance use among youth. The second Parent Education Night will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Carson City Juvenile Probation Office at 740 S. Saliman Road. This presentation will be in English. Carson City Juvenile Services will partner with Carson City Health and Human Services to provide the community vaping awareness among youth. Juvenile Services Outreach Specialist Michelle Entz also will provide a two-day vaping class from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Oct. 24 and 31 at the Carson City Juvenile Services Probation Office at 740 S.
