Carson City road report for September 18 to 24, 2023

The following information applies to Sept. 18-24:

Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

• Silver Sage Drive between Eagle Station Lane and Koontz Lane will be closed, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for utility improvements. Local access only.

• Silver Sage Drive and Eagle Station Lane intersection will be closed, Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for utility improvements. Follow detour signing.

Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:  

• The city’s annual long-line and short-line striping projects are continuing. These projects will affect roads city-wide. Overnight lane closures should be expected. Please use caution, follow traffic control requirements, and don’t drive in wet paint.

• Minnesota Street between Musser Street and 3rd Street will have narrowed lanes, Tuesday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for sewer lateral replacement.

• Colorado Street between Carson Street and Saliman Road will periodically have reduced and narrowed lanes, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. for roadway reconstruction.

• Carson Street between Nye Lane and John Street will have reduced lanes with flaggers, Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for road work.

• Conestoga Drive between Grumman Drive and Convair Drive will have reduced lanes with flaggers, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for utility work.

• Medical Parkway between Carson Street and Medical Parkway Loop will have reduced lanes with flaggers, Monday-Thursday, 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for road work.

• Presti Lane between Eagle Valley Ranch Road and Medical Parkway Loop will have reduced lanes with flaggers, Monday-Thursday, 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for road work.

• Silver Oak Drive between Medical Parkway and Carson Street will have narrowed lanes with flaggers, Monday-Thursday, 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for roadway improvements.

• Vista Lane between Medical Parkway and Silver Oak Drive will have narrowed lanes with flaggers, Monday-Thursday, 7 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for roadway improvements.
