Thank You to everyone who enjoyed the great music from the talented musicians of Bourgeois Gypsies — what a great time! And thank you to all our sustaining members and sponsors that make this all possible.

Get set for a wild weekend as the Addams Family takes over the theatre! This is a fully immersive event — the theatre is decorated like the Addams Family Mansion and all your favorite characters will be there — Morticia, Gomez, Wednesday, Pugsley, Grandmama, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Cousin Itt and Thing. Also souvenir cups for kids and adults, popcorn bar, costume contest both evenings and lots more.

Please remember these movies plus this great event is free because of the great generosity of Huck Salt, who has sponsored this great event.

So let's get started — Friday and Saturday starting at 6 p.m., we have the 2019 animated family comedy “The Addams Family.” Members of the mysterious and spooky Addams family — Gomez, Morticia, Pugsley, Wednesday, Uncle Fester and Grandmama are readily preparing for a visit from their even creepier relatives. But trouble soon arises when shady TV personality Margaux Needler realizes that the Addams' eerie hilltop mansion is standing in the way of her dream to sell all the houses in the neighborhood.

Voices provided by Oscar Isaac, Charlize Theron, Bette Midler and Snoop Dog.

At 7 p.m. each evening we have the 1991 comedy, “The Addams Family” — when a man claiming to be Fester, the missing brother of Gomez Addams, arrives at the Addams' home, the family is thrilled. However, Morticia begins to suspect the man is a fraud, since he cannot recall details of Fester's life. With the help of a lawyer, Fester manages to get the Addams clan evicted from their home. Gomez realizes the two men are conspiring to swindle the Addams fortune and that he must challenge Fester. Starring Anjelica Huston, Raul Julia, Christopher Lloyd and Christina Ricci.

Mark your calendars for Oct. 13 as the Carson City-based group Keith Alan Barnett and The Lonesome Polecats take our stage for the first time playing a great brand of 70s western music plus current country and rock with many original songs. The concert starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $15 at the door.

Also a big day will be Saturday, Oct. 14. That’s when we host our seventh annual Show N' Shine as we close down Maine Street for the day from 9 a.m.- to 2 p.m. Come enjoy this great event and view some terrific cars and trucks. Later that evening, starting at 7 p.m., we have live stand-up comedy, Fallon Halloween Hijinx, with three great comedians taking our stage. Tickets are $20 in advance (brianleecomedy.ticketleap.com), or $25 on the day of the show.
