Sierra Nevada Forums will host a discussion on “The Truth About Carson City Road Funding: Straight from the Horse’s Mouth” on Tuesday, April 9 at the Brewery Arts Center Performance Hall, 511 W. King St.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the program starts at 6 p.m. The forum will feature a discussion on how Carson City prioritizes and funds road maintenance projects and the potential implications for local neighborhoods.
The panel moderator will be Greg Novak, member of the Regional Transportation Commission. The presenters are Chris Martinovich and Darren Schultz. Each presenter will speak for about 15 minutes, with time reserved for written questions submitted by members of the audience.
The next forum is Tuesday, May 14, and will focus on the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and Inflation Reduction Act funding in Nevada. Speakers will include Zach Conine, Sondra Rosenberg, and Lucas Ingvoldstad.
