Greetings from the Fallon Theatre.

First, we would like to thank the performers, those who came and supported our Heritage of the West celebration on Saturday. Visit our Facebook page to see pictures of the event: www.facebook.com/fallontheatre

We have two fabulous movies showing Friday and Saturday. For the kids in the upper theatre, we will be showing another Disney classic beginning at 6 p.m. with a $1 admission. "Cars" is about a hot-shot race car named Lightning McQueen who gets detoured in Radiator Springs, where he finds the true meaning of friendship and family.

In our lower theatre will be showing "Smokey and the Bandit" starring Burt Reynolds, Sally Field and Jackie Gleason on both nights at 7 p.m. and it is free. Smokey and the Bandit is a car chase comedy about The Bandit (Burt Reynolds) who is hired to run a tractor-trailer full of beer over state lines, in hot pursuit by a pesky sheriff (Jackie Gleason).

On Saturday, the Fallon Theatre will host Hillsdale College’s Constitution 101 video lecture series. This event is sponsored by the Churchill County Republican Women and admission is $15 for adults, and students are free. The event begins at 9 a.m. and continues until 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided by Getto Subs.

On April 26, we will be showing "Encanto" for one night beginning at 6 p.m. This is movie is free and sponsored by the Churchill County Special Services and Pinwheels for Prevention. The Fallon Theatre thanks our sponsors.

On April 27, at 6 p.m., we will show "Tahoe Joe 2" featuring some local cast and crew! In this sequel to the 2022 film "Tahoe Joe," a popular social media influencer goes missing in the Tahoe National Forest. Filmmakers Michael Rock and Dillon Brown set out on a rescue mission but get more than they bargained for when returning to the famous hunting grounds of Tahoe Joe. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for children 12 and under, and active military.
