Dear reader, will wonders never cease? When I heard about BARK Air, I knew that something wonderful was happening. A new airline, BARK Air is the first airline created with dog travel in mind. A first class experience awaits your BFF when they fly.
BARK Air believes no dog should fly in a crate. To prove this point, the CEO of BARK Air agreed to fly in a dog crate. After crawling into the dog crate, a conveyor belt transported him to the luggage compartment of the plane where he then flew. His entire experience was miserable.
I suspect that experience launched BARK Air and the rest is history. Pet travel at best is stressful; however, on BARK Air they have thought of everything! After booking your flight, a concierge will reach out to get the scoop on your BFF from favorite treats to personality quirks.
On the day of his flight, the concierge will meet your pup and prepare him for takeoff. As a bonus to pet parents, the check in takes less time, and you don’t have to take your BFF through TSA in a crate. Your BFF will experience calming pheromones (hormones) and music as he boards the plane.
Once on the plane, dogs can use noise-canceling headphones and calming jackets. Beverage service during take-off and landing helps to avoid ear discomfort. Of course, for safety your pup will be properly seat belted when necessary. The seats are wide, deep, and comfortable.
There is no need for pet parents to stress about keeping your BFF entertained, because your concierge will see to all your pet’s needs. In fact, you can simply snooze with the knowledge that everything is under control.
The flights, beginning in May are between White Plains, New York, Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles, and Stansted Airport in London. The tickets range from $6,000 to $8,000 per dog; however, that does include their human. Check out the in flight service on: https//air.bark.co.
