This summer, Carson Valley’s 10U, 11U, 12U, and Juniors All-Star teams all advanced to the District 1 Finals Tournament, with the Juniors playing their tournament at Lampe Park and the younger divisions in Reno.

The Juniors won the championship title for Nevada’s District 1, a region that includes Reno, Carson City, and north and south Tahoe. The team advanced to the state championship in Las Vegas, where they fell to Peccole from Las Vegas in the finals and landed the runner-up spot.

After completing three games of pool play in Carson, the 11U team battled it out in Reno, playing six consecutive days in 100-plus degree heat. The team fell to Washoe, 6-4, in the District 1 championship game, which earned them the District 1 runner-up spot. The team finished 6-3 for the All-Star season.

The 12U’s finished their All-Star season 3-4 while the 10U’s, most of whom had their first All-Star experience, completed their own seven-game run.
