Sierra Watercolor exhibit on display at community center

For Capital City Arts Initiative’s exhibition, Sierra Watercolor Society Invitational, 18 SWS member artists shared their art presenting a wide array of images, visions, and painting techniques.

The Sierra Watercolor Society Invitational exhibit will be in the Community Center’s Crowell Board Room through Oct. 10. The community center is located at 851 E. William St. The Crowell Board Room is open for all the city’s public meetings and upon request.

The painters with art in the exhibit include Vickie Behrens, Vicki Curwen, Kathryn Dudley, Sally Dupre, Eileen Fuller, Michelle Hall, Cheryl Keaveney, Sherry Klingensmith, Laura Lawrence, Linda Parisi, Nancy Podewils-Baba, Ronnie Rector, Colleen Reynolds, Anette Rink, Lynn Schmidt, Laurel Sweigart, Hope Thompson, and Kay Tietz.

Each of these artists’ paintings has received award recognition in previous shows.
