Exterior renovation began last week at 3815 S. Carson St., the building that housed Buffalo Wild Wings before the chain restaurant closed its doors in November.

Remodel plans filed with Carson City Community Development showed modifications to the existing building to house an Aspen Dental office and a retail space, according to a description of the building permit issued Aug. 5.

In a statement to the Appeal, a spokesperson for Aspen Dental said there was no specific opening date but expected the new Carson City office to open in late 2024 or early 2025.

Building owner representative Craig Mueller, who is managing director of leasing for Hyperion Realty Capital, said Aspen leased approximately 3,500 square feet of the former restaurant.

“We do not have a lease signed on the adjacent 2,400 square feet yet,” Mueller said Monday.

According to the company’s website, Aspen Dental was founded in 1998 and includes a network of more than 1,100 locations nationwide.

As of Tuesday, Aspen Dental was hiring for the Carson City location: https://careers.aspendental.com/us/en/search-results?keywords=Carson%20City.

“There is no single provider of dental care called ‘Aspen Dental.’ Each Aspen Dental branded practice is owned and operated by a licensed dentist. Aspen Dental Management Inc., provides administrative and business support services to Aspen Dental branded dental practices,” says the corporate website.
