The featured books are “The Six” by Loren Grush; “The Lost Bookshop” by Evie Woods; “The Pegasus Passion” by Victoria James; “The Bonanza King” by Gregory Crouch; “Let’s Pretend It Never Happened” by Jenny Lawson; and “Donner Party Cookbook” by Paul and Nancy Marasa.

• “The Six” tells the remarkable true story of America's first women astronauts — six extraordinary women, each making history going to orbit aboard NASA's Space Shuttle.

• “The Lost Bookshop” is a novel with elements of bibliophilia, magical realism, fantasy, historical fiction, and romance by the Irish author, Evie Woods. The book also tackles serious real-world issues such as alcoholism, domestic violence and societal misogyny.

• James’ “The Pegasus Passion” weaves a tale of adventure and self-discovery, bringing to life unique characters and a heroine whose journey forces her to see who she is and what she is capable of.

• Crouch’s “The Bonanza King” is a rags-to-riches frontier tale of an Irish immigrant who outwits, outworks and outmaneuvers thousands of rivals to take control of Nevada’s Comstock Lode.

• For every intellectual misfit who thought they were the only ones to think the things that Lawson dares to say out loud, this is a poignant and hysterical look at the dark, disturbing, yet wonderful moments of our lives.

• “The Donner Party Cookbook” is a charming compilation of witticisms, off-the-wall humor, historical facts, limericks, interesting graphics and recipes of days gone by. These tasty recipes represent comfort food at its best. Enjoy amusing advice and savor the pioneer spirit within the pages.
