The University of Nevada, Reno is hosting the annual Cattlemen’s Update in person and virtually from Jan. 13-17.

For more than 40 years, the university has held several sessions across Nevada in January to provide ranchers with current research-based information about issues that may affect the efficiency, productivity, profitability and sustainability of their businesses and Nevada’s cattle industry. Cost of workshop is $20 per ranch.

• Virtual Webinar via Zoom: Registration Required. Jan. 13 at 10 a.m.

• Fallon Convention Center: Jan. 14 at 5:30 p.m., dinner

• Ely Convention Center: Jan. 15 at 5:30 p.m., dinner

• Great Basin College, Elko: Jan. 16 at 12:30 p.m. in the GBC Theater; dinner in the GBC Reynolds Solarium

• Extension Humboldt County Office: Winnemucca, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m.; lunch

Times given for the in-person sessions are registration time, with the program beginning 30 minutes later.
