Cody Highfill and Kolton Zinn took first place in their brackets as Douglas High School wrestling finished sixth as a team at the Cody Louk Invitational in Winnemucca last weekend.
At 120 pounds, Highfill had little trouble besting his first three opponents by technical fall to make it to the finals.
In the championship match, Highfill pinned Mason Kendall of Spanish Springs in three minutes.
Zinn was equally impressive in his path to the finals, pinning his first two opponents in 1:15 and 0:24, respectively.
The senior captain won by technical fall in the quarterfinal before advancing to the finals on a forfeit.
Zinn won the championship match by a 10-7 decision over Israel Knight from Pershing County.
Raiden Barnes took second place in the 215-pound bracket after pinning his way through his first four matches to get into the championship. He fell by pin in the finale.
Isaac Bedrosian was fourth at 126 pounds, winning his first two bouts by pin. Bedrosian fell in the semifinals, but bounced back with another pin to qualify for the third place match.
