Last weekend’s Grinch event was packed with joy and laughter and we sincerely appreciate everyone who joined us in celebrating the holidays just before Christmas. It is truly rewarding for our volunteers to see the community enjoying the results of our collective efforts over the years.

We are deeply grateful for your support and are thrilled that you value this historic building as much as we do.

We’re closing out December and the year of 2024 with two fun, light-hearted films. Kicking it off at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday we have the 2002 animated adventure, “Ice Age.” Join Manny the mammoth, Sid the loquacious sloth, and Diego the saber-toothed tiger as they embark on a comical quest to return a human baby to his father across a world on the brink of an ice age.

This film is rated PG.

We’re also excited to present the 1974 cult classic slapstick western parody, “Blazing Saddles,” at 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday in honor of its 50th anniversary.

In an attempt to destroy a small town and seize its land, a corrupt politician appoints a black sheriff who soon becomes his most formidable adversary.

This film is rated R.

In January, we're excited to introduce a new live music event featuring the Reno-based dark folk duo, Sweet Decay, on Friday, Jan. 10 at 7 p.m. with a $10 admission. Their music combines gothic country with a touch of spice and we can't wait to welcome them to our stage.
