Burglars in rash of break-ins in Northern Nevada sought

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public's assistance in identifying suspects involved in several commercial burglaries in Northern Nevada. 

On July 14, around 3 a.m., three unknown subjects pried open Walgreens's front sliding glass door at 1465 East William St. They entered with large plastic tubs, filled them with cigarettes, and fled.

On Nov. 16, around 3 a.m., Walgreens was burglarized again. About $10,000 worth of cigarettes.

The suspect vehicle was located on traffic cameras, showing the vehicle coming from Douglas County and returning after the burglary.

At 3:41 a.m., the same suspects burglarized the Dollar General in Douglas County. Cigarettes were targeted in this attempt as well. The suspects entered the Dollar General, 1247 Pit Road, however, the cigarettes were locked. This was the second time this business was burglarized.


On Nov. 25, at 1:42 a.m. a clinic in the 6000 block of Mayan Avenue in Reno was burglarized. The suspects smashed the front of the business and the suspects entered and filled plastic tubs with merchandise before leaving. A white 4-door sedan was seen near the business at the time of the burglary.
