Former President Donald Trump easily won Nevada’s Republican caucus.
Churchill County Republicans turned out by the hundreds Thursday night at the Rafter 3C Arena.
All 19 precincts in the county reported their results although the voting took longer than expected because of the number of voters. The final tally shows 1,294 Republicans cast their votes with 1,287 going to former President Donald Trump and seven to Ryan Binkley.
The Nevada GOP caucus is the only venue where presidential candidates earn delegates to the Republican National Convention and become the GOP nominee to face President Joe Biden in November.
