Sheriff seeks ID on battery with deadly weapon suspect

What started out as a road rage incident led to one man being run over by another man’s vehicle, according to a news release from the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.

According to a statement, on Jan. 15, the victim observed a “burnt orange” hatchback, possibly a Kia, driving erratically through town, the release said. He stated he saw the vehicle go into the Burger King parking lot at 3589 N. Carson St. The victim stated he exited his vehicle to tell the driver of the other vehicle to slow down. The victim stated the other driver struck him with the front passenger side of his vehicle then drove away on North Carson Street in the oncoming traffic-side bicycle lane. The victim was later transported to the hospital and treated for injuries to his left leg.

According to the victim the driver of the burnt orange vehicle was a white male adult, between 40 and 50 years old, with gray hair that was balding. The victim stated the male had blue eyes and appeared to be 6-foot-tall and 250 pounds. The male was wearing a red wind breaker and blue jeans.
