The Carson City Board of Supervisors will have a joint work session with the Regional Transportation Commission on Thursday.
The boards will meet at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Bristlecone Room of Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center, 1600 Medical Parkway.
Topics the work session will cover include:
• Discussion and possible action or direction regarding the Opioid Community Needs Assessment and the proposed plan for the use of any grant funds received under Senate Bill 390 of the 2021 Legislative Session.
• Discussion and possible action or direction regarding the allocation of funding to Carson City from the State of Nevada Indigent Accident Fund and the current and proposed uses of these funds.
• Discussion and possible action or direction regarding the annual employee survey and staff shortages.
• Discussion and possible action or direction regarding the City’s Asset Management Program, including Geographic Information Systems, the GIS Strategic Plan and the Strategic Asset Management Plan and, and prioritization of goals for the City’s Asset Management Program over the next four years.
• At 1:45 p.m. the work session will discuss the Jump Around Carson transit system including administration, operations, costs, projects and long-range fiscal outlook.
