Branden Fitzgerald, member of the Capital City Gun Club, won the Men’s Junior Class Silver Medal at the Jacksonville International Skeet Open in Florida.
Fitzgerald practices at the club in Carson City several mornings per week and routinely travels around the nation to compete in tournaments.
The Jacksonville International Skeet Open held Feb. 16-17 attracted elite shooters from around the world.
Fitzgerald has sights on Olympic and World Cup qualifying events.
