The 2024 football season continues to take shape for Nevada, which learned its Mountain West schedule for the upcoming season on Thursday.

The conference office announced its complete schedule Thursday, including games against Oregon State and Washington State, which have a scheduling arrangement with the MW for the 2024 season.

In new head coach Jeff Choate's first season with the Wolf Pack, Nevada will play seven home games, face off against 10 teams which reached a bowl game last season, and will play Oregon State at home.

Following five straight non-conference games to open the season, Nevada will have the first of its two byes in Week 5, then open Mountain West play on Oct. 5 at San Jose State. The Wolf Pack then returns home to host Oregon State (Oct. 12) and Fresno State (Oct. 19).

Later, the Pack will play against former coach Jay Norvell for the third time when Colorado State visits Mackay Stadium Nov. 2. Nevada’s regular season ends with the annual Fremont Cannon game against rival UNLV on Nov. 30.

The Wolf Pack’s already-announced non-conference schedule includes home games against first-year ACC member SMU (Aug. 24), Georgia Southern (Sept. 7), and Eastern Washington (Sept. 21), along with trips to Troy (Aug. 31) and Minnesota (Sept. 14).

Next up, the Mountain West’s national television partners at CBS and Fox will begin a selection process which will include the shifting of some games to non-Saturday dates. That will be followed by finalizing kickoff times.

Oregon State and Washington State, technically still members of the downsized Pac-12, will each play seven games against MW opponents this season. Those games will not count in the conference standings and neither the Beavers nor the Cougars are eligible to appear in the Mountain Wet Championship Game.
