The Carson High Cheer Team will host a Jr. Senator Cheer Camp from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19 in Senator Square at Carson High. At the conclusion of the camp, all participants will perform during halftime of the 7 p.m. varsity basketball game vs. McQueen High School.

The cheer camp is for athletes ages K-8 and will cost $40. Athletes will be divided into age groups for instruction. If athletes already have a t-shirt from the fall clinic, the cost will only be $30. Participants will also assist in cheering in the stands with CHS Cheerleaders during the first half of the basketball game.

Payment for the camp will include parents entrance into the game. Parents will pick up their athlete after halftime. For more information, see attached flyer in English and Spanish. Scan the QR code to register or click here.

Additionally, the CHS Cheer Team is inviting community members to attend its annual fundraising event, Mr. Carson High, on March 22 at the Carson City Community Center.

The cheer team also invites CHS senior boys to sign up to participate as Mr. Carson High candidates by scanning the QR code in the attached flyer or clicking here. An assortment of prizes will be awarded to participants. No experience is necessary.
