The message from the Nevada Republican Party leaders to its members reads loud and clear. Four candidates are excluded. They will not be granted delegates.
Those candidates are out because they could not stomach the caucus’ rules, which dictate they guarantee to support the caucus winner.
We are given only a two-hour window to cast our “secret paper ballot.” It may well be secret, but once opened and looked at, is there any impartial oversight to guarantee it will be counted?
To use a certain person’s favorite descriptive term, the Nevada Republican Party caucus vote is “rigged.” And it’s rigged in favor of a serial liar with an unspoken white supremacist agenda.
Let me suggest, my fellow Republicans, that we withhold our votes for this collection of losers and use them instead to support Sam Brown for U.S. Senate in the true primary election on June 11.
