Carson City road report for July 22 to 28, 2024

Road report as of Thursday. The following applies to July 22-28:

Road closures are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

2nd Street between Carson Street and Curry Street will be closed to westbound traffic until June 30, 2025 for construction.

5th Street between Hells Bells Road and Parkhill Drive will be closed from Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Sage Street near Lone Mountain Drive will be closed from Tuesday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:

The intersection of 5th Street and Hells Bells Road will have flagger control from Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

5th Street between Parkhill Drive and Marsh Road will have alternating one-way traffic with random intersection closures from Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Curry Street between Adams Street and Park Street will be reduced to a single lane from July 22 to Aug. 2, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Mallory Way near 8 Mallory Way will have reduced lanes Monday-Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Musser Street between Plaza Street and Stewart Street will have reduced lanes from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Robinson Street between Valley Street and Roop Street will have reduced lanes from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Bus stops will be closed during construction. Robinson Street between Anderson Street and Walsh Street may be closed during this time. Detours will be provided.

Sigstrom Drive near Conestoga Drive will have shoulder work Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

William Street between Roop Street and Saliman Road will have shoulder work on the eastbound side of the street. The bike path will be closed and trucks will be entering and exiting the roadway from Monday to Thursday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Winnie Lane between Mountain Street and Carson Street will have shifting lanes through Winnie Lane and all intersections from Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
