The Capital City Rodeo is set to kick off Aug. 2-3 at the Fuji Park Fairgrounds in Carson City.

The event will feature a lineup that highlights the rodeo scene, freestyle motocross, local vendors, tattoo artistry and more, according to a news release.

“We have always been inspired to bring lively events to our area and contribute to the development of our community” Bailey Sanchez, owner of CCR, said in the release. “After seeing the positive impact Douglas County Rodeo had with our community, it makes us excited to see what we can do with this year's Capital City Rodeo.”

Rodeo enthusiasts can look forward to the events such as bulls, broncs and xtreme broncs, and eight-time X Games medalist and Nitro Circus athlete Adam Jones headlining the FMX Ramp-age Freestyle Motocross Show, and the Ramp Revival event.

Attendees will also be able to experience Chopper’s Magazine as they ask for custom motorcycle enthusiasts to join for a chance to win $10,000. Carson City Tattoo Show will also be there as they have gathered artists from Nevada and neighboring states to display their unique styles and offer live tattooing sessions during the two-day rodeo.

Tickets can be purchased at https://capitalcityrodeo.com/tickets or at the fairgrounds box office.
