The release of back-to-school information for Churchill County School District has begun on Infinite Campus, Facebook and the recently updated churchillcsd.com website.
During the school year the district also emails students and their families every Sunday evening with a newsletter containing announcements and important reminders. The newsletter is available in all languages through the “translate” button at the top of the newsletter website page.
Kaitlin Ritchie, CCSD public information officer, said kindergarten through fifth grade teacher assignments and classroom lists will no longer be posted on school buildings as they were in past years. Instead, this information will be distributed Aug. 2 after 4 p.m. through Infinite Campus.
Churchill County High School class schedules are available now on Infinite Campus and Churchill County Middle School class schedules will be available Aug. 5. Assistance with Infinite Campus may be reached by emailing parentinfo@churchillcsd.com.
Parents/guardians of students who applied for the Northside Early Learning Center Pre-Kindergarten program should receive a notification letter in the mail by the end of July.

They differ from back-to-school nights, which happen after school has begun and allow parents and students to bring up more specific questions and concerns with the teacher.
