Carson Aquatic Facility therapy pool closed

The Carson City Parks, Recreation & Open Space Department said in a news release the therapy pool at the Carson Aquatic Facility will be closed until emergency repairs to the filtration system can be made.

There was a catastrophic failure of the therapy pool filtration unit, which makes the pool inoperative. The process of acquiring replacement materials is already underway and it is hoped that the therapy pool will not be closed for an inordinate amount of time, the release said. The Carson Aquatic Facility has three other pools for the public.
