Dalpe, student leaders shepherd lambs through Dayton
WNC President J. Kyle Dalpe and ASWN student government leaders participated in the ultimate shepherd challenge, guiding Borda Ranch Lamb’s fluffy crew through its traditional journey on Main Street and over the bridge in downtown Dayton recently.
From Dayton, the lambs were headed south to the Pine Nut Mountains and the Sierra.
The college’s wooly friends have been munching away in Carson City for the past two months, keeping wildland fires at bay and the hillsides looking fabulous.
