FALLON PAIUTE-SHOSHONE TRIBE
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
FOR CHIEF JUDGE
The Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribe (“FPST” or “Tribe”) seeks proposals from qualified individuals and firms to act as the Chief Judge of the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribal Court. Applicants shall have significant experience and background in criminal law to serve as the Tribe’s Chief Judge in the Tribal Court. The Chief Judge shall perform the following services:
* Shall hear matters over which jurisdiction is
vested in the Fallon Paiute-Shoshone Tribal
Court;
* The Chief Judge will provide supervision over
all Associate Tribal Judges for the Fallon
Paiute-Shoshone Tribal Court;
* Provide legal judgments in the form of written
and verbal opinions and presentations; and
* Monitor and represent the Tribe’s interests
before various business and judicial bodies,
as well as representation in court.
* This Scope of Work is not intended exclusive
and the successful applicant will be able to
accommodate other judicial matters as the
Tribe may require.
Interested qualified individuals and firms can submit proposals to the Fallon Paiute Shoshone Tribe. A letter of interest including salary requirements and hours of availability, along with a current resume and the names of at least three professional references.
