Five people were arrested Saturday on drug charges following an investigation at a Carson City motel, according to a news release from the Carson City Sheriff’s Office.
Natalie Munoz, Angel Gonzales, Paul Randall, Devin Keller, and Jeffery Locklin were all booked into the Carson City Detention Center, the release said. No other information on the suspects was provided.
On Saturday, March 9, Carson City Special Enforcement Team conducted an investigation at the Days Inn, 3103 N. Carson St.
Detectives noticed behavior at the Days Inn consistent with narcotic sales, the release said. Detectives conducted a traffic enforcement stop with a police K9 and the driver, Munoz, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance for sales. Munoz had over 2 ounces of methamphetamine inside her vehicle.
Detectives also contacted and arrested Angel Gonzales from the Days Inn for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, the release said.
The traffic enforcement stop and pedestrian stop resulted in detectives conducting a search warrant of two rooms at the Days Inn, leading to the arrests of Paul Randall, Devin Keller, and Jeffery Locklin.
Randall was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and parole violation.
Keller was arrested for a Washoe County warrant, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Locklin was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
