You are hereby notified that the Carson City Planning Commission will conduct public hearings on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, regarding the items noted below. The meeting will commence at 5:00 PM. The meeting will be held in the Carson City Community Center, Robert “Bob” Crowell Board Room, 851 East William Street, Carson City, Nevada.
LU-2024-0043 For Possible Action: Discussion and possible action regarding a request for a special use permit (“SUP”) for a residential use on property zoned Retail Commercial (“RC”), located at 302 E. John Street, Assessor’s Parcel Number (“APN”) 002-153-08. (Heather Ferris, hferris@carson.org)
Staff Summary: Scott and Martha Miners (“Applicants”) are seeking approval to convert the existing office to a single-family residence. Per Carson City Municipal Code (“CCMC”) 18.04.130, single-family dwellings are allowed in the RC zoning district subject to first obtaining an SUP. The Planning Commission is authorized to approve an SUP.
